It's been awhile, hmm?

Well, I don't suppose much has happened. My life is still going nowhere really. I suppose I'm happier than I was before though (for some unintelligable reason). I went through this phase where I was certain to do every major I researched. At this point I'm still not really sure, but Environmental Sciences is most likely. Who knows where that will lead me.

I've been living at Wada (campus apartments) for the last year and will continue to do so next year. This will be my first year in a triple. Funny how that happens. Triples are usually for the freshmen. To balance this reversal in living situations though, I've gotten into the upper division slump and lost touch with various people. My roommates have been my most regular contacts. Sad how that works. I'll miss all you graduates. Congrats though.

The real world seems to be coming in so quickly. Oh yes, I'm staying an extra year, prolonging my eventual need to find my life calling. The answers seem so far away and unreachable.

As for this summer I have few plans. I just spent a week doing field work for a UC Davis lab, using remote sensing imagery to map invasives along the Sacramento Delta. This involves speeding along the river at thrilling speeds of 40 mph. Lab website. (If anyone knows of jobs in the Sacramento area please feel free to pass them along to me)

Alright, hope anyone who reads this is exceedingly well. I've been trying to catch up on some good subscription reading. Happy typing! I'll probably be updating my livejournal more regularly.

Oh yeah, thanks for faqqly people. Like I needed another form of online distraction.

Sunday, July 24, 2005

You know something that I never really thought about? My toilet paper style...
I mean, do you fold or crumple? It's intriguing really. I totally fold. Wonder what that means...
Ah, the questions people ask.

Fish can be so cruel!
Cell phone companies too...
